During the 18th and 19th centuries, stone arch
bridges were a common sight along the creeks and streams of
Northeast Philadelphia and vicinity. Only a total of twelve
remain (five open to traffic) on Frankford/Tacony, Pennypack, and
Poquessing Creeks. The Friends of Northeast
Philadelphia History present this 11 x 8.5 2020 Wall Calendar in hopes that the
images will inspire us to appreciate and preserve these treasures of
the past.
